Lotte Healthcare Unveils Health Management Platform 'Cazzle'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte announced on the 22nd that it will showcase new businesses such as a metaverse service integrating the group’s capabilities and a healthcare integrated platform at ‘CES 2023,’ held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 5 to 8 next year.
Lotte Information & Communication and Lotte Healthcare will each operate their own exhibition halls. Lotte Information & Communication is participating in CES for the second consecutive year. In an exhibition hall more than three times larger than last time (130 pyeong, 432㎡), it will present various content and enhanced technologies. Lotte Information & Communication plans to establish various partnerships and secure global market competitiveness by presenting business models for the metaverse and electric vehicle charging.
The Lotte Information & Communication exhibition hall will be divided into a Metaverse Zone and an Electric Vehicle Charging Zone promoting the EV charging platform. In the Metaverse Zone, its subsidiary Caliberus will showcase an ultra-realistic metaverse service that fuses online and offline experiences based on HMD (Head Mounted Display). In the virtual stores cooperated with Lotte Duty Free, Lotte Hi-Mart, and Seven Eleven, visitors can experience clothing, cosmetics, home appliances, and camping products, as well as enjoy interactive games using food and beverages.
In the Electric Vehicle Charging Zone, the focus will be on promoting EVsis, the electric vehicle charging platform of Lotte Information & Communication’s subsidiary Joongang Control, along with its EV charging patents and technologies. EVsis is a platform that allows convenient use from searching for EV charging stations to payment. No Junhyung, CEO of Lotte Information & Communication, said, “We plan to present an upgraded metaverse platform on the global stage and propose business models that create various synergies with partner companies,” adding, “We will strive to become a company that leads qualitative changes in customers’ lives.”
Lotte Healthcare will unveil its personalized health management platform Cazzle for the first time. Cazzle is a healthcare-specialized platform that leads from diagnosis and personalized recommendations to purchase. The exhibition hall, themed ‘A Better World Thanks to Cazzle,’ will be set up on 67 pyeong (223㎡). Users can register personal questionnaires through the application (app) and receive solutions tailored to each result type. In future commercial versions, various additional information such as genetic testing, medical data, and life logs will be utilized to enhance diagnostic reliability.

Woo Woongjo, head of Lotte Healthcare, said, “The Cazzle platform can provide optimal healthcare services to customers based on advanced recommendation algorithms and hardware,” adding, “We plan to build a healthcare vertical commerce platform equipped with a lineup of products necessary for management, including health supplements, general foods, exercise equipment, and beauty products, so that customers can purchase not only health information but also related products immediately.”
