Lotte Chilsung Beverage Delivers Over 60,000 Bottles of Water to Gwangju and Jeonnam Amid Severe Drought
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Lotte Chilsung Beverage Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Yoonki) donated approximately 61,000 bottles of 500㎖ bottled water to the Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Cho Heungsik) to support drought relief in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions.
The bottled water will be delivered this month through the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea to 5,980 low-income households affected by water supply restrictions due to drought in island areas of Wando-gun, including Soan-myeon, Geumil-eup, and Gunoe-myeon.
The Jeonnam region is currently experiencing the worst drought in 50 years, and water supply restrictions are expected due to the lowering of reservoir water levels.
