The New Excellent Technology (NET) certification recognizes the excellence of new technologies developed by domestic companies and research institutions across various fields such as electrical and electronics, information and communication, and chemical and life sciences, and aims to promote technology transactions and commercialization. The certificate is awarded by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy. The 3rd NET and New Excellent Product (NEP) certification ceremony for 2022 was held the day before at The-K Hotel in Seocho-gu, Seoul, where Shinsegae International received certification for the "Technology for Whitening Cosmetic Raw Material Using Colostrum-Derived Hydrolysates."
The whitening cosmetic raw material technology using colostrum-derived hydrolysates, which received this new technology certification, was jointly researched and developed by Shinsegae International’s Cosmetics Technology Innovation Center and Palm Skin. It was recognized as the first domestic technology to decompose colostrum components through biotransformation technology and convert them into cosmetic raw materials with excellent whitening effects. Through two years of joint research, Shinsegae International realized the stable and suitable use of domestically sourced clean colostrum as a cosmetic raw material.
This new technology will be applied to the high-functional skincare line of Shinsegae International’s own cosmetic brand Vidivici and is scheduled to be launched next year, with plans to gradually expand its application scope.
