View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Industry-Academia Cooperation Leading University Development Project Group (LINC 3.0) Nano New Materials and Chemical Industry Collaboration Center (ICC) at Gyeongsang National University recently held a workshop on "Next-Generation Metal 3D Printing Initiative Promotion Plan" at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) with POSTECH LINC 3.0 Project Group Advanced Materials ICC.
Additionally, the ICCs of both universities signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a shared and collaborative system between the universities.
The workshop covered topics such as the introduction of metal 3D printing research trends, technology development trends, current status of industrial association support, and discussion on corporate support measures.
Both institutions signed the agreement to build close exchanges and cooperative systems for mutual development in the field of nano and convergence new materials.
To this end, the two institutions agreed to cooperate on ▲ sharing operational technologies related to joint industry-academia technology development projects and corporate support programs ▲ joint development and operation of industry-academia-linked curricula in the nano and convergence new materials field ▲ support for field training and employment linkage programs for family companies ▲ joint use support of shared equipment for family companies of the partner universities ▲ sharing industry-academia-research networks and supporting cooperative projects to create a shared and collaborative ecosystem for mutual growth.
A university official stated, “We will strive to make the most of the opportunity to lead technology development in the next-generation metal 3D printing field through sharing and collaboration between universities.”
