Hana Securities Launches Carbon Neutral ESG ETN
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Hana Securities has newly launched an exchange-traded note (ETN) that invests in carbon-neutral environment, social, and governance (ESG) excellent companies.
The Hana iSelect-WG Carbon Neutral ESG ETN is a product that tracks the iSelect-WG Carbon Neutral ESG Index. This index selects the top 10 companies with high ESG performance based on reports published by major organizations such as CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), and is designed to invest in the intersection of the carbon-neutral theme and the ESG theme. Hana Securities directly provides liquidity.
Cha Ki-hyun, Vice President of Hana Securities, stated, "Hana Securities is expanding its product lineup by launching various thematic products such as this carbon-neutral ESG thematic product, in addition to various commodity-based products like corn, soybeans, crude oil, and natural gas," adding, "We will do our best to quickly understand the ever-changing market and economic environment and timely introduce products necessary for investors."
