Busan Port Authority Develops Social Contribution Activities with KidZania Busan and Marine Federation
Busan Port Authority conducted social contribution activities with KidZania Busan at the 'Smart Port Logistics Center'.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Jun-seok) carried out social contribution activities together with KidZania Busan and the Busan Maritime Federation.
During November and December, BPA held experiential events inviting children from welfare centers, local children's centers, and multicultural centers, hosting a total of 15 sessions with about 250 participants in collaboration with KidZania Busan.
The children and their guardians who participated in the event experienced over 70 different occupations such as port engineer, chef, crew member, firefighter, and doctor firsthand within facilities modeled after real environments.
BPA operates the ‘Smart Port Logistics Center’ experiential facility at KidZania Busan.

Since its opening in April 2021, the ‘Smart Port Logistics Center’ has been visited by over 22,000 people, providing an understanding of the port’s role and offering hands-on experiences in port operations such as ship docking, crane and truck loading/unloading, and truck transportation.
