According to Chosun University Hospital on the 15th, Resident Hwang presented a poster titled "Unfavorable prognosis of acute stroke developed by bilateral vertebral artery occlusion."
Ischemic stroke caused by bilateral vertebral artery occlusion showed neurological symptom deterioration in most patients due to the progression of cerebral infarction despite medical treatment, and it was confirmed that patients exhibited poor neurological outcomes beyond the level of difficulty in independent walking.
Resident Hwang stated, "I will work harder not only in academic research but also in clinical practice to help neurology patients."
