Pohang Mayor Lee Gang-deok is giving a special lecture on the topic of "Comprehensive Safety City Plan Responding to the Climate Crisis Era" at the "2022 Green Job Competency Development Training for Neighborhood Leaders" held on the 14th.

The training was conducted for Lee-Tongjang, who carry out civil administration closest to the citizens, and featured a special lecture by Mayor Lee Kang-deok titled ‘Comprehensive Safety City Plan Responding to the Climate Crisis Era’ to build a safe city Pohang prioritizing citizens’ safety and health.
Following this, Vice President Choi Byung-jin of Isan provided education on ‘Step-by-step response guidelines for natural disaster prevention, response, and recovery,’ strengthening the capabilities of Lee-Tongjang as disaster safety leaders. Lastly, Professor Yoon Bok-man of Kyungwoon University led a session titled ‘Empathize and Communicate with Laughter,’ providing a joyful time where Lee-Tongjang shared laughter and relieved stress.
Before the training, a meaningful time was held to encourage the efforts of 29 individuals selected as ‘Model Lee-Tongjang’ for their contributions to the development of city administration by awarding commendations.
On this day, Mayor Lee Kang-deok of Pohang said, “Those gathered here serve devotedly at the forefront of administration for the citizens, not only enabling high-level service by conveying residents’ vivid opinions but also acting as an important bridge by informing residents of government or local government policies, thereby enabling regional development.
