In a statement titled "Yongjin Hyung, We Will Use It Well," the union said, "In these serious times, rather than clashing and blaming each other over small differences of opinion, we hope that labor and management will overcome the situation together and create a sustainable good company, and that Emart employees who have worked together will receive fair compensation and distribution."
The union added, "Although not all of the union's demands were accepted in this wage negotiation, our members take pride in receiving the best treatment in the industry. Which negotiation can be 100% satisfactory?" and emphasized, "We see the current reality faced by the distribution industry as a serious crisis, as if aliens are invading Earth. In protecting the Earth, labor and management cannot act separately."
