Hansot Launches 'Good Lunchbox' with 100 Won Donations per Purchase
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Hansot announced on the 13th that it will sell the ‘Good Lunchbox with 100 Won Donation’ in collaboration with the international relief and development NGO Save the Children until the 31st of this month.
Since 2018, Hansot has been conducting the Good Lunchbox donation campaign every December along with the launch of new menu items. When customers purchase a Good Lunchbox, a donation of 100 won per lunchbox is accumulated at the company’s expense. This year’s Good Lunchbox menu consists of three types of Sagol Ugeoji Gomtang and Sagol Ugeoji Gomtang set meals, which provide a warm broth to comfort the stomach. The three set meals include Big Chicken Mayo Sagol Ugeoji Gomtang Set Meal, Spicy Pork Sagol Ugeoji Gomtang Set Meal, and Tuna Vegetable Licorice Gochujang Sagol Ugeoji Gomtang Set Meal.
The donations will be used through Save the Children to support domestic vulnerable children in areas such as livelihood, education, and medical care. Save the Children is a child relief organization active in over 120 countries with more than 30 member countries worldwide. Since its establishment in 1919, it has been leading the realization of children’s rights in disaster and conflict zones around the world.

The donations collected by Hansot amounted to 21,861,700 won in 2018, 22,618,162 won in 2019, 20 million won in 2020, and 33,504,400 won last year, totaling nearly 100 million won.
