Seogwipo Fire Station Conducts CPR Training for New National Tax Officials
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] The Seogwipo Fire Station of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province (Chief Kim Jihyung) announced on the 13th that it conducted 'Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training' for about 170 new national tax officers at the National Tax Service Training Institute auditorium on the 12th.
The training included reporting procedures in case of a patient occurrence, CPR theory and practice using a training mannequin, and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), with participants directly practicing these skills.
Chief Kim Jihyung said, "Prompt response in emergency situations increases the survival rate of emergency patients," and added, "We expect that these new officers, once deployed in the field, will be able to assist people in urgent need during emergencies."
