The Corporate Innovation Awards have been held since 1994 to discover and award excellent cases of companies that achieve management innovation through new ideas, coexist with local communities, and practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management. Since last year, ESG evaluation indicators have been introduced as evaluation criteria to reflect social demands and expectations for corporate ESG management.
Lotte Shopping e-Commerce Division, which operates Lotte ON, said it received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award due to excellent evaluations in customer satisfaction through the platform, organizational culture improvement, eco-friendly activities, and efforts to coexist with small and medium-sized merchants. The company stated, "This year, we opened specialized sections such as premium beauty, luxury goods, and fashion, and continuously improve customer-tailored recommendation and search services based on purchase data analysis to provide high-quality services to customers."
As part of ESG management, the company is continuously supporting online market development and education to promote the co-growth of small and medium-sized merchants struggling due to COVID-19, and is also providing financial support that can offer practical help, such as co-growth funds and early payment of holiday funds.
