Group BTS's RM has released a live performance video of his solo album 'Indigo.'
On the 9th, RM posted the video titled 'RM Live in New York' on his official social media account. In the video, RM passionately performed a total of four songs from 'Indigo,' including the title track 'Deulkkoch Nori,' 'Still Life,' 'Change pt.2,' and 'No.2.'
The video was filmed at the Dia Beacon art museum located in Beacon, New York State, USA. Dia Beacon is an art museum converted from a historic printing factory, established to exhibit large-scale works from the post-1960s era, which were difficult to display despite the museum's high public recognition.
The video candidly captures RM moving through trees, forests, light, and steel, harmonizing with the museum's artworks in the vast exhibition space, portraying the process of seeking essence live.
RM sang 'Deulkkoch Nori' in a garden that conveyed a broad sense of space. The camera movements, which captured narrow paths between towering trees and the open view of 'Robert Irwin's garden,' combined with RM's calm rap and Jo Yujin's powerful vocals, amplified the song's atmosphere.
Next, RM freely walked among John Chamberlain's sculptures made of scrap metal while passionately performing 'Still Life.' In 'Change pt.2,' performed along Dan Flavin's fluorescent light sculptures, he maximized the spatial sense of the artwork and delivered a strong presence with just his silhouette.
The video concluded with 'No.2.' Amidst a soothing piano performance that enhanced immersion, RM delivered a stylish rap against the backdrop of light filtering through Richard Serra's large steel installation artworks.
Through his first solo album 'Indigo,' RM conveys 'art beyond boundaries.' In this content, where the exhibited artworks and music harmonize, he created an atmosphere reminiscent of a film with perfect visual beauty and live performance.
