According to the British media outlet The Sun on the 8th (Korean time), the supercomputer of the sports betting site Bonuscodebets predicted the results from the quarterfinals to the final.
The supercomputer predicted that on the 10th, Brazil and Argentina, who play the earliest quarterfinal matches, will each defeat Croatia and the Netherlands to advance to the semifinals. In the two quarterfinal matches held the following day, Portugal and France are expected to beat Morocco and England, respectively, to reach the semifinals.
The Sun reported on the England vs. France quarterfinal match, stating, "The England national team faces its toughest test this weekend against the current champions. Kylian Mbapp? (Paris Saint-Germain) is destructive, and Olivier Giroud (AC Milan) has become France's all-time top scorer," adding, "The supercomputer predicts that Didier Deschamps, the French coach, will win the tactical battle against England's Gareth Southgate."
Furthermore, in the first semifinal match on the 14th, Brazil is expected to defeat Argentina, and in the second semifinal on the 15th, France is predicted to beat Portugal to advance to the final. The supercomputer forecasts that in the final on the 19th, Brazil will defeat France to achieve a record sixth championship.
British Football London reported, "According to the supercomputer, England's probability of winning the World Cup is 14%," and "Brazil is the overwhelming favorite to win, with a 33% chance of victory."
Argentina and France were rated at 13% and 11%, respectively.
