Gyeonggi Fire Department Conducts 'Safety Emergency Response' Research Project with Private Companies

The National Life Safety Emergency Response Research Project is a government-initiated project temporarily conducted until 2024 to support research and development and field application that can quickly respond to various unexpected disaster safety issues.
On the 7th, the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters announced that it held a kickoff meeting related to the National Life Safety Emergency Response Research Project in the 6th-floor video conference room at the headquarters in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon.
At the kickoff meeting, about 40 people from the Fire and Disaster Headquarters and seven related companies attended and exchanged opinions on the related projects.
Earlier, in September, the Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters applied for the 2022 National Life Safety Emergency Response Research Project conducted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and two projects were selected for research: 'Development of a wireless portable base station for underground space disaster safety communication network services' and 'Development of an integrated safety management platform combining a rescuer life-saving alarm and a wearable wristband.'
