According to Mokpo Coast Guard Station on the 7th, at around 9:06 a.m., a report was received from the head of a health center that resident A (female, in her 60s) of Seongnamdo, Jindo-gun, was suspected of having an intestinal obstruction due to severe abdominal pain and required urgent transport.
The Coast Guard dispatched a coastal rescue boat, boarded A at Jodo Changyu Port, and quickly moved to Seomang Port in Jindo-gun, handing her over to the 119 ambulance team at around 9:53 a.m.
A, who was transported to the mainland by the Coast Guard, was transferred to a large hospital in Mokpo, where she is currently undergoing detailed examinations and treatment.
