According to Samsung Electronics, 20 '3040 executives'?three managing directors in their 30s and seventeen vice presidents in their 40s?were promoted on this day.
In the DX (Device Experience) division, 48-year-old Moon Seong-hoon, head of the Strategic Product Development Group 1 in the MX (Mobile Experience) Business Unit, stands out as a vice president. Vice President Moon led the hardware (H/W) development of Samsung Electronics' flagship products such as the Galaxy S series and foldable phones, contributing to the discovery of new technologies. 37-year-old Bae Beom-hee, managing director of the H/W Technology Group at the Production Technology Research Institute, contributed to securing future core technologies such as the world's first RF signal transmission and flexible PCB. He has also published numerous papers and patents.
In the DS (Semiconductor) division, the advancement of '3040 executives' was also remarkable. 45-year-old Lee Jung-won, vice president and head of the Modem Development Team at the S.LSI Business Unit, was recognized for improving 5G modem performance and product competitiveness through modem algorithm enhancements and design optimization. 39-year-old Lee Byung-il, managing director of the Flash PA1 Team in the Memory Business Unit, is a flash product development expert who timely developed the new 'V-NAND' product based on a deep understanding of new processes and optimization know-how.

In the DX division, the promotion of Ahn Hee-young, managing director and head of the Service PM Group in the VD Business Unit, drew attention. Managing Director Ahn is recognized as a key figure who led the planning and commercialization of the app store and platform based on smart TVs. She expanded TV Plus and led the launch of the 'Gaming Hub.' Other notable figures include Han Geul-ra-ra, managing director and head of the Purchasing Group 3 in the VD Business Unit, who took the lead in securing semiconductor materials in advance, and Ahn Joo-won, managing director of the Strategic Group in the Planning Team of the Management Support Office, who pioneered new markets such as AR glasses and mobile cloud gaming as a 'strategist.'

Germain Clausse, managing director of the SEAVO in the VD Business Unit of the DX division, served as the head of TV sales management for Southeast Asia in Singapore. Daniel Araujo, managing director of the Business Support Task Force (T/F), led the establishment of Samsung Electronics' company-wide mid- to long-term management strategies and the M&A roadmap based on new technologies.
