CJ Logistics Launches In-House Idea 'Royce Forwarders'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Innovative technology company CJ Logistics is accelerating its digital transformation by launching ‘Royce Forwarders,’ a service based on employees' ideas.
CJ Logistics announced on the 5th that it has launched the digital forwarding system ‘Royce Forwarders,’ which was commercialized through the in-house venture idea contest ‘Da(Da)doem Project.’
Started in November last year, the Da-doem Project is an internal venture contest that collects creative ideas from employees and seeks commercialization opportunities. Out of a total of 210 ideas, 5 were finally selected. Royce Forwarders is the first idea among them to be actually commercialized.
Through Royce Forwarders, shippers (customers) can receive all forwarding services related to international import and export logistics in a one-stop manner, including fast quotation inquiries, customs clearance agency, insurance subscription, and card payment.
In particular, it is equipped with an automatic quotation function. Anyone can quickly check transparent freight information and quotations. In the existing forwarding work process, shippers had to receive and compare different freight information and quotations from forwarding companies each time they conducted import and export.
Royce Forwarders is as simple as using an overseas travel site. By entering only the basic information required for import and export logistics, such as cargo information and transportation methods, customers can receive the most efficient and reasonable forwarding solution, including estimated detailed quotations and arrival times. Shippers only need to select the service that fits their needs based on the analyzed information.
Another advantage is that the real-time cargo transportation status can be checked at a glance. Through the transportation management screen, the entire transportation process of the cargo can be monitored, and a mobile notification service that informs status changes frequently is also provided. This monitoring system helps shippers make quick decisions and take appropriate actions according to the real-time changing situation.
Additionally, it has various features for customer convenience, such as a dashboard function that shows trends in logistics cost increases and decreases based on accumulated data, and a credit card payment service that enables fast and easy payments.
