Daishin Securities contributed to revitalizing the public offering market by managing a total of 13 public offerings, including Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs), in the IPO sector this year. Notably, it participated as a lead manager in LG Energy Solution's IPO in January, which had a record-breaking public offering size of 13 trillion KRW. In the case of Sungil Hi-Tech, which was listed under the profit non-realization condition, it is recognized for contributing to the diversity of companies and industries in the KOSDAQ market as the first company in the domestic secondary battery recycling industry to be listed.
Achievements continued in the ECM sector as well. Daishin Securities successfully completed Jeju Air's rights offering worth 217.3 billion KRW, supporting the company’s liquidity. Jeju Air, the leading low-cost carrier (LCC) in the industry, had faced operational difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, but stabilized its financial structure through the rights offering at the time when international flights resumed following the easing of quarantine measures.
In the direct finance market, amid an environment where improvements in convertible bond systems and a weak stock market have led to a clear preference for investments focused on high-quality and strong small and medium enterprises, Daishin Securities successfully facilitated funding of approximately 554.8 billion KRW for a total of 11 companies.
Additionally, advisory services for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate governance restructuring have been steadily ongoing. In the new technology sector, since the establishment of the department last year, Daishin Securities has achieved cumulative assets under management (AUM) of 619.2 billion KRW, securing its position as a top-tier market player.
