Seoul Youth Policy Online Portal Opens... Naming Contest Until the 23rd
Newly Established in 'Cheongnyeon Mongttang Jeongbotong'
Contest from 5th to 23rd
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] On the 5th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it has opened an online channel on the comprehensive youth policy platform 'Cheongnyeon Mongttang Jeongbotong' to allow any citizen to propose youth policies.
Citizens can propose policies necessary to solve difficulties faced by youth, such as jobs, housing, environment, social safety nets, and inequality issues, through the online youth policy proposal channel created on 'Cheongnyeon Mongttang Jeongbotong.'
The proposed content is linked with Seoul's citizen proposal platform 'Minjujuui Seoul' (Democracy Seoul), and if more than 50 citizens agree, the department reviews and responds; if more than 100 agree, policy discussions take place.
To promote the newly established policy proposal channel and activate citizen participation, the city is holding an 'Online Youth Policy Proposal Channel Naming Contest.' Any interested citizen can participate online from the 5th to the 23rd.
Eight people who submit excellent ideas will be selected and awarded a total of 1.6 million won in cultural gift certificates.
