People Power Party Gyeongnam Provincial Committee Appoints Professor Shin Seok-min as Chair of the Sports Committee
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] The People Power Party Gyeongnam Provincial Party Committee has appointed Professor Shin Seok-min of the Department of Physical Education at Gyeongnam National University as the chairman of the Sports Committee.
Professor Shin graduated from the Department of Physical Education at Gyeongnam National University and its graduate school, and earned a Ph.D. in Physical Education from Keimyung University Graduate School. He is currently serving as a professor in the Department of Physical Education at the College of Education of Gyeongnam National University and as the dean of the Graduate School of Education, and is active as an advisory member of the Korean Society of Sport Science.

He also serves as the president of Gyeongnam Special Olympics Korea, leading efforts to expand sports opportunities for people with disabilities, and holds positions as secretary general of the Haksan Kim Seong-ryul Memorial Foundation, director of the Gyeongnam Sports Council, and director of the Gyeongnam Shooting Federation.
