Han In-ho Appointed as New President of Sungshin Cement Co., Ltd.
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Cement manufacturer Seongsin Yanghoe announced on the morning of the 1st that it held a board meeting and appointed Han In-ho (photo, 61), Executive Vice President, as the new CEO (President).
The new President Han graduated from Daekwang High School and the Spanish Department of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. He is an overseas business expert who worked at Samsung C&T for 29 years, serving as Head of the Resource Business Division (Senior Managing Director), among other roles. At Seongsin Yanghoe, he started working as Head of the Overseas Business Headquarters in 2016, and since July last year, he has been serving as Executive Vice President and Head of the Overseas Business Headquarters.

President Han expressed, "I feel a heavy responsibility as I take on an important role during a challenging domestic and international business environment," adding, "I will strengthen the competitiveness of the company’s core businesses, such as cement and other building materials, to solidify the company’s fundamentals." Furthermore, he stated, "We will accelerate the expansion of eco-friendly businesses through overseas operations focused on Southeast Asia and the Middle East, as well as recycling of circular resources," and added, "We will establish a management system that secures new growth engines for the company and pursues both profitability and growth."
