[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] CU announced on the 1st that it will collaborate with Korea's leading hip-hop artists Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae to launch 'Tiger JK Beer' and 'Mirae Soju.'
Tiger JK Beer is a light ale beer with an alcohol content of 3.8%, lower than regular beer, so that everyone can enjoy it. It features a sweet and refreshing taste with a harmonious blend of sweet green grape aroma and savory malt scent.
Mirae Soju is a distilled liquor with 22% alcohol content, made using 120m deep underground bedrock water and 100% domestically produced rice, offering a rich flavor and a strong grain aroma. It is produced using a vacuum distillation method at low pressure and temperature, providing a clean finish.
The two products were designed with differentiated taste and aroma to harmonize well when purchased together and enjoyed as somaek (soju + beer). Tiger JK Beer is offered in a promotion of 4 cans for 11,000 won, and the Beer Day event, where popular craft beers are sold at 5 cans for 10,000 won, is held every Friday and Saturday.
