'Incheon International 1-Person Media Festival' Held in Songdo on 3rd-4th... Largest Scale Ever
150 Famous Creators from Korea and Abroad Participate
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The '2022 Incheon International One-Person Media Festival (2022 IISF),' now in its 5th year, will welcome visitors on the largest scale ever.
Focusing on the rapidly growing one-person media industry within the new media ecosystem such as OTT (online video services), metaverse (3D virtual worlds), live commerce, and NFT (non-fungible tokens), the 2022 IISF will be held over two days from July 3 to 4 at Songdo Convensia Hall 1 in Songdo International City.
On the 30th, the 2022 IISF revealed its main cast through the official website, including 'Osaka-e Saneun Saramdeul TV' (800,000 subscribers), 'BoramiTV' (2.16 million), 'Dave' (1.86 million), 'Chaekoje' (500,000), 'OneShot Hansol' (470,000), 'Dan & Joel' (300,000), 'Miguelimnida' (240,000), and 'Rachel Kim' (200,000).
Popular creators such as Russian-born broadcaster and YouTuber Ilya, Jadeoknyeo, Dubakwi, Ssukseureun TV, Komerican, JG ASMR, ALiEN, Dance Teacher SIMBA, and Nanya Jeje also made the lineup.
Additionally, over 150 creator teams including Malaysia's Amar Nazan Team, Billyberry, and Wanghong affiliates will participate in the festival. The total subscriber count of these creators easily exceeds 10 million.
Moreover, about 150 companies related to the one-person media industry such as broadcasting, video, lighting, and sound, as well as next-generation tech companies growing alongside one-person media like metaverse firms, will participate to showcase the present and future of the one-person media market.
During the event, there will be talks with famous creators, masterclass lectures by one-person media experts, and various experiential programs including a large military challenge zone.

An IISF official stated, "This event is a place where creators, broadcasting, equipment, and platform companies come together," adding, "As it is the first normal on- and offline event in three years since the COVID-19 pandemic, we are preparing to make it a substantial and rewarding event."
