Kim Won-jung, Muan County Council Member, Receives 'Freedom Award' from World League for Freedom and Democracy
Recognized for Contributions to the Promotion of the Values of Liberal Democracy
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] On the 29th, Kim Won-jung, a member of the Muan County Council, was awarded the Freedom Award by the World League for Freedom and Democracy at the inauguration ceremony of the Korean Freedom Federation Muan County Branch President, in recognition of his dedicated volunteer spirit and contributions to the promotion of the values of liberal democracy.
Kim, who received the honor, is the longest-serving member of the 7th to 9th Muan County Council sessions, leading efforts to realize communicative administration and actively working with democratic leadership to create a "Happy Muan for All."
Kim Won-jung said, "I am honored to receive such a great award even though I was just doing what I had to do," adding, "I will take this as a call to work even harder and do my best to foster pride in liberal democracy, strengthen security awareness, and promote regional development."
