After expert evaluations in two categories-general video and short-form video-12 works were selected. Awards included: Grand Prize (Minister of Health and Welfare Award) for 1 work with a prize of 3 million won; Excellence Prize (President of the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development Award) for 2 works with 1 million won each; Merit Prize for 3 works with 500,000 won each; and Encouragement Prize for 6 works with 300,000 won each. The total prize money awarded was 8.3 million won.
The prestigious Grand Prize went to "Street Korean Medicine Fighter" by Cho Gyudae.
Cho Gyudae stated, "Rather than focusing on video techniques, I tried to convey essential information in an easy-to-understand way. I am happy to have received the Grand Prize, but I hope my video helps correct misinformation and contributes to improving perceptions of Korean medicine."
Jung Changhyeon, President of the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development, said, "I would like to thank all participants who submitted their ideas to promote the Korean medicine industry. We will continue our efforts so that Korean medicine can develop and communicate more closely with the public."
The winning entries can be viewed on the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development website and will be used as promotional materials for Korean medicine through SNS channels and other platforms.
