Mokpo Coast Guard Transfers 4 Emergency Patients from Island Areas and at Sea

According to Mokpo Coast Guard Station on the 28th, a report was received the previous day at around 2:40 PM that tourist A (female in her 60s), who was hiking on Gwanmaedo Island in Jindo-gun, had a fractured leg and was unable to move.
The Coast Guard dispatched a coastal rescue boat from the police substation, boarded A and her guardian, and transported them to Seomang Port in Jindo-gun, handing them over to the 119 ambulance team at around 4:21 PM.
Also, at around 3:10 PM on the same day, the Coast Guard received a report that crew member B (male in his 60s), who was fishing 9 km south of Gwanmaedo Island in Jindo-gun, was suffering severe abdominal pain, and transported him to the mainland via a coastal rescue boat. Later, at around 9:11 PM, resident C (female in her 60s) of Jodo in Jindo-gun, who showed symptoms of respiratory distress, was urgently transported to the mainland.
Earlier, at 11:13 PM on the 25th, the Coast Guard received a report that resident D (male in his 60s) in Bigeumdo Island, Sinan-gun, had a chicken bone stuck in his throat during dinner causing bleeding in the airway, requiring treatment at a large hospital. He was transported by coastal rescue boat and handed over to the 119 ambulance team at Namgang Dock in Amtaedo Island at 12:36 AM the next day.
