[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] T'way Air announced on the 28th that it will begin operating the popular content-themed 'Pikachu Jet TW' designed with 'Pokemon' from the end of next month.
T'way Air's 'Pikachu Jet TW,' specially designed with Pokemon, is part of the 'Flying Pikachu Project' conducted by The Pokemon Company in collaboration with airlines and others.
The exterior wrapping of T'way Air's 'Pikachu Jet TW' features Pokemon enjoying themselves to music on a stage illuminated by colorful spotlights. In addition to the exterior wrapping, passengers can find unique experiences throughout various parts of T'way Air, including interior decorations and various consumables.
The moment passengers enter the cabin, specially prepared boarding music welcomes them, and enjoyable experiences are provided through Pokemon-themed boarding passes, baggage tags, paper cups, duty-free shopping bags, in-flight headrest covers, and window stickers.
Additionally, starting January 1st next year, a 'Pikachu Jet TW' model airplane, a blanket in the form of a cushion pouch, keyrings, and a set of three gel pens will be sold onboard. T'way Air's 'Pikachu Jet TW' is expected to be mainly deployed on domestic flights from Gimpo Airport and the Gimpo-Songsan route starting at the end of December.
