[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] A public opinion poll has shown that President Yoon Suk-yeol's approval rating for his administration has rebounded to the mid-30% range.
On the 28th, Realmeter, commissioned by Media Tribune, conducted a survey from the 21st to the 25th targeting 2,514 voters nationwide aged 18 and older. The results showed that the positive evaluation of President Yoon's administration was 36.4%, while the negative evaluation was 60.8%.
The positive rating increased by 3.0 percentage points compared to the previous survey, marking a rise to the mid-30% range after four weeks. The negative rating decreased by 3.0 percentage points during the same period.
By region, the positive evaluation notably increased in Busan·Ulsan·Gyeongnam (8.8%p), Gwangju·Jeolla (7.4%p), and Seoul (4.3%p), while it declined in Daegu·Gyeongbuk (1.2%p).
Regarding party support, the Democratic Party of Korea fell by 2.6 percentage points to 45.5%, while the People Power Party rose by 3.0 percentage points to 36.8%.
The Justice Party decreased by 0.2 percentage points to 3.8%, and the proportion of undecided voters remained unchanged at 12.3%.
