Suwon Gwanggyo Complex Sports Center Opens on December 1
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The 'Gwanggyo Complex Sports Center' located in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, will open early next month.
Suwon City announced on the 28th that the opening ceremony of the Gwanggyo Complex Sports Center will be held at 10 a.m. on the 1st of next month.
The Gwanggyo Complex Sports Center, built within Gwanggyo Lake Park (Yeongtong-gu, 165 Gwanggyohosu-ro area), has a total floor area of 12,652.55㎡, with one basement floor and two above-ground floors.
The first floor includes an ice rink, swimming pool, lounge, restaurant, and cafe, while the second floor houses spectator seats for the ice rink and swimming pool. The basement floor contains management and operation facilities.
The ice rink measures 30m by 60m and is equipped with athlete waiting rooms, coach rooms, and a medical room.
Additionally, the swimming pool is 50m long with 10 lanes and includes shower rooms, changing rooms, and lockers. Construction began in March 2018 and was completed last September.

Meanwhile, the opening ceremony will be attended by Suwon Mayor Lee Jae-jun, Suwon city council members, Gyeonggi-do council members, and citizens.
