The exhibition, held on the first floor of the university library, is the second book curation of the year following "Korean Literature by Era" in June.
Book curation is a newly coined term referring to the selection of multiple books on a specific theme to suggest to readers.
The exhibition is conducted under the theme "Earth, About Sustainability for the Next Generation - Trusting Human Potential to Change the Trajectory of Change."
In connection with this, a special exhibition on "Practicing and Empathizing? Zero Waste, Veganism, Marine Pollution" is also prepared.
As the exhibition is related to environmental protection, the university plans to promote the event using recycled materials without producing placards or purchasing disposable exhibition items.
An exhibition official explained, "Through books related to the new environmental protection trends of zero waste, veganism, and marine pollution, we will diagnose the current situation and provide an opportunity to understand the new flow of environmental protection."
Library Director Hwang Seokman said, "I hope people learn about the seriousness of climate change and global environmental issues through books, think about and empathize with the current state of the Earth, efforts to save the Earth, and concerns about sustainability from various authors' perspectives," adding, "Let us think together about what humans can do for the deteriorating Earth."
