Gyeonggi Office of Education, First Exam for 'Secondary, Librarian, Professional Counselor, Nutrition, Special Teachers' on 26th
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will conduct the first round of the 2023 Gyeonggi-do secondary school teacher recruitment exam for teachers, librarians, professional counselors, nutritionists, and special (secondary) teachers on the 26th.
The exam subjects include: 1st period - Educational Theory Essay, 2nd period - Major A, and 3rd period - Major B. Answers must be written in essay form for the 1st period and short-answer form for the 2nd and 3rd periods.
The number of applicants is ▲11,822 for public schools ▲76 for national schools ▲879 for private schools.
The exam will be held at 18 middle and high schools across 7 regions including Hwaseong, Gwangmyeong, Gunpo, Seongnam, Ansan, Anyang, and Osan. COVID-19 positive candidates can take the exam at a separate testing site only if they apply in advance.

The results of the first round will be announced on the Gyeonggi Office of Education website on the 29th of next month. The second round of exams will be conducted by recruitment field from January 12 to 19 next year.
