At this extraordinary meeting, 14 major policy proposals, including the 'Resolution to Urge the Legalization of the Local Council Personnel Hearing System' and the 'Resolution to Improve the Support Method for Local Council Members' Policy Development Expenses' aimed at revitalizing the legislative activities of local council members, were discussed and deliberated in depth and approved as originally proposed.
The Gyeongnam Provincial Council proposed as an urgent agenda item the 'Prompt Introduction of the Nationally Supported Local River System,' emphasizing the urgent need to establish a basis for national funding to support local river maintenance, which requires enormous budgets for river maintenance construction after the transfer of local river projects in 2020.
Also, at this event, the chairs of the provincial and metropolitan councils held banners praying for the prompt establishment of the Space Aviation Agency, united in their wish for the leap to a space aviation powerhouse.

We hope that the Local Council Act will be enacted and the one-person one-assistant system will be implemented as soon as possible.”
