View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-won] Kyung Hee University Hospital announced on the 24th that Professor Na Young-ho of the Department of Pediatrics was elected as the president at the 72nd Autumn Academic Conference of the Korean Pediatric Society held last month.
The Korean Pediatric Society was founded in 1945, and Professor Na's term is one year, from this month until October next year.
In his inaugural speech, Professor Na said, "Due to the severe low birthrate and the sharp decline in the application rate for pediatric residency, pediatrics is facing a serious situation that could paralyze medical services," adding, "I will do my best to propose various policies to the government to prevent the collapse of the pediatric care system and protect the precious health of children and adolescents."

Meanwhile, Professor Na graduated from Kyung Hee University College of Medicine, earned his master's and doctoral degrees in medicine from the same graduate school, and completed training at the National Jewish Medical and Research Center at the University of Colorado in the United States.
