The Bank of Korea Signs Business Agreement to Build National Strategy and Policy Big Data
[Asia Economy Reporter Seo So-jeong] The Bank of Korea (Governor Lee Chang-yong) announced on the 21st that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the National Assembly Secretariat and others at the National Assembly to establish a 'National Strategy and Policy Big Data' platform.
The participating organizations include the National Assembly Secretariat, National Assembly Library, National Assembly Budget Office, National Assembly Research Service, National Assembly Future Institute, the Bank of Korea, Statistics Korea, Korea Meteorological Administration, National Research Council for Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences, Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information, Korea Fiscal Information Service, and the National Information Society Agency.
The 12 participating organizations, including the Bank of Korea, plan to strengthen cooperation in areas such as the establishment and utilization of the national strategy and policy big data platform, data processing and sharing, and personnel exchanges related to digital work through this MOU.

The Bank of Korea stated, "We will continue to actively promote the expansion of policy services by strengthening cooperation with the National Assembly, local governments, and international organizations."
