Miryang Youth Counseling and Welfare Center Cultural Experience Activities ... Harmony and Growth
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] The Gyeongnam Miryang Youth Counseling and Welfare Center conducted a youth cultural experience activity in the Gyeongju area over two days from the 19th to the 20th.
This experience activity was organized as a cultural experience and harmony program involving both in-school youth (Miryang Peer Counselors Association) and out-of-school youth (Kkumdeulim), aiming to provide an opportunity for healthy social development through positive peer relationship experiences.
Additionally, by visiting Gyeongju World to relieve everyday stress and participating in group mission activities exploring various Gyeongju historic sites (Cheomseongdae, Daereungwon, Woljeonggyo), participants had a meaningful time learning about Korean history and national treasures through engaging experiences.

Park Sook-yi, the director of the Welfare Center, said, “Above all, this experience activity is significant because it involved both in-school and out-of-school youth together. I am glad that our youth, who will live together in the future, were able to dispel prejudices they usually held about each other and become a little closer through this experience activity.”
