BTS Jin's 'The Astronaut' Achieves Million-Seller Status

Jin of the group BTS released his first solo single, "The Astronaut," last month, which has become a million-seller. According to his agency Big Hit Music on the 18th, 224,390 copies were sold from the 6th to the 12th alone, bringing the cumulative sales to 1,024,382 copies (based on Circle Chart).
"The Astronaut" is a song expressing Jin's affection for ARMY (BTS fans). Jin personally participated in writing the lyrics. The song features a refreshing yet dreamy atmosphere. It ranked 51st on the US Billboard main singles chart "Hot 100" and held the number one spot for two consecutive weeks on Billboard's "World Digital Song Sales" chart. Domestically, it topped the weekly album charts on both Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart.
