CJ Logistics Rebrands US Integrated Carrier Subsidiary to Strengthen Global Business
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] CJ Logistics announced on the 17th that it will change the transportation subsidiary brand name of its U.S. integrated corporation ‘CJ Logistics America’ from 'GN Transportation' to 'CJ Logistics Transportation' and will actively expand its transportation business.
CJ Logistics launched the U.S. integrated corporation 'CJ Logistics America' by merging ‘DSC Logistics,’ acquired through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in 2020, and the U.S. corporation ‘CJ Logistics USA.’ Last year, it unified the U.S. integrated corporation brand to ‘CJ Logistics,’ the same as the CJ Logistics brand, accelerating its advance into the U.S. logistics market.
In the U.S., CJ Logistics Transportation plays a key role in the transportation management center operated to build the most efficient network and generate smooth synergy effects in the transportation business. Utilizing the transportation capabilities of its subsidiaries, CJ Logistics America provides optimized solutions that offer differentiated services and reduce logistics costs to customers (shippers) across North America.
CJ Logistics America reliably transports various cargo across all industries based on its transportation infrastructure and human resources. It provides 24-hour services tailored to customer needs, including short-distance transportation, long-distance transportation, container transportation, refrigerated and frozen cargo transportation, as well as procurement logistics transporting goods from production plants to logistics centers.
Through this rebranding, CJ Logistics America plans to expand its range of international logistics services offered to customers, including cross-border transportation, import-export customs clearance, and forwarding, linked with CJ Logistics’ global network alongside its freight transportation business.
Doug Smith, General Manager of CJ Logistics Transportation, said, “The rebranding of transportation services reflects our identity as a provider of integrated end-to-end supply chain solutions,” adding, “We will continue to strive to create a great corporate culture, an eco-friendly work environment, and generate customer value.”
