Naju City Health Center Establishes Emergency Contact System in Preparation for COVID-19
[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yuk-bong] Naju City, Jeollanam-do is making every effort to support examinees' safe test-taking in preparation for the resurgence of COVID-19, one day before the 2023 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
On the 16th, Naju City Public Health Center announced that it has established an emergency contact system with the Office of Education and Jeollanam-do Provincial Government to prepare for confirmed and non-confirmed isolated examinees, ensuring that examinees can take the exam without any disruption.
The total number of CSAT examinees in the Naju area is 841.
In particular, an emergency duty system will be maintained until 9 a.m. on the test day, the 17th, to promptly respond to any isolated examinees due to COVID-19 confirmation.
Examinees confirmed positive for COVID-19 after the 11th will be classified as isolated examinees on the test day.
The Public Health Center immediately notifies the Office of Education of isolated examinees who have tested positive (confirmed patients with hospitalization or isolation notices, non-confirmed persons, hospitalized patients) and guides them to be assigned to separate test sites or hospital test sites.
Additionally, to alleviate anxiety among confirmed examinees, they are informed via phone calls and text messages that they can take the CSAT and are guided through the reporting procedures to the Office of Education.
Mayor Yoon Byung-tae said, “We are making every effort to implement measures so that examinees confirmed with COVID-19 can take the exam safely and without any issues,” adding, “We hope the examinees achieve fruitful results reflecting their hard work.”
For the 2023 CSAT examinees' compliance guidelines and precautions regarding movement of COVID-19 confirmed and isolated examinees, please refer to the notices on the Naju City Hall and Naju City Public Health Center websites.
