KB Kookmin Card Donates Funds and Goods to Children and Adolescents in Three Overseas Countries
Donation and Supplies Delivered to Youth in Indonesia, Thailand, and Cambodia
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 15th that it has delivered donations and donated goods for vulnerable children and adolescents in overseas expansion countries such as Indonesia, Cambodia, and Thailand.
First, KB Finansia Multi Finance (PT. KB Finansia Multi Finance), an overseas subsidiary in Indonesia, delivered donations to the youth care and education institution 'Yayasan Prima Unggul' in Jakarta, Indonesia on the 14th, and also conducted social contribution activities such as invited lectures.
The donations delivered on this day will be used for cafeteria renovations, purchase of learning devices such as computers and musical instruments, badminton supplies, and providing snacks for students. In particular, the event included an invited lecture by Greysia Polli, the gold medalist in women's doubles badminton at the 32nd Tokyo Olympics.
Separately, on the 17th, 4,000 love T-shirts made together by KB Kookmin Card employees and customers will be delivered to children from low-income families in the Bantar Gebang area of Jakarta, Indonesia.
In Thailand, KB J Capital, the local subsidiary of KB Kookmin Card, delivered 300 sharing boxes containing various daily necessities such as clothing, stationery, and English books donated by KB Kookmin Card employees and customers for children from low-income families in Nontha Buri near Bangkok on the 14th.
Also, KB Daehan Specialized Bank, the local subsidiary in Cambodia, plans to deliver 400 financial fairy tale popup books introducing saving and wise consumption habits to children in Kampong Thom, as well as 1,300 solar lanterns directly produced by KB Kookmin Card employees through untact talent donation methods within this month.
