On the 15th, Jeong posted on his social network service (SNS), "Looking at the recent behavior of the Democratic Party, it seems they have completely lost their reason," and directly attacked, "The Democratic Party is drifting like a ship with a broken compass, losing its way as a political party."
He pointed out, "They lost their way while defending Representative Lee's judicial risks. The problem is that the criminal charges against Representative Lee are not matters to be taken lightly," adding, "If even one of the current charges is true, it is a serious crime that shakes the foundation of the nation."
He continued, "Let's look at what the Democratic Party is doing to protect Representative Lee, who is facing serious criminal charges. The Democratic Party took the lead in disclosing the list of victims of the Itaewon disaster," and criticized, "Representative Lee himself initiated this, and party officials chanted 'disclosure of the list' without regard for the human rights of the victims and their families. Eventually, a pro-Democratic Party media outlet disclosed the victims' list without the consent of the bereaved families."
Regarding the 'Cheongdam-dong drinking party' allegations raised by spokesperson Kim Ui-gyeom, he said, "Although it was proven to be groundless, no one reflects or apologizes. They blatantly spread fake news at the Supreme Council meeting and then act as if nothing happened," pointing out, "Their actions are either abusive language, fake news, lies, or incitement to reject the presidential election results."
Additionally, Jeong targeted Supreme Council member Jang Gyeong-tae, who described First Lady Kim Geon-hee's volunteer activities as 'poverty porn,' saying, "It is truly vulgar beyond words. What on earth are they trying to do?" He also criticized Lee Kyung, the full-time deputy spokesperson, who posted 'corpse photos' to condemn the First Lady's actions.

Jeong concluded, "Who would recognize a party that has completely lost national reason and does anything to defend its own representative's judicial risks as a legitimate political party?" He criticized, "Now the Democratic Party must choose. Whether to break ties with Representative Lee, his closest aides, and those who act irrationally to protect them and show a sign of awakening, or to lose its way as a political party and drift away into the shadows of history."
