Gwangju Nam-gu "Media Wall 'Family Stories' Now Accepting Submissions"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is providing a service that delivers stories that residents have not been able to convey to their families in the form of videos through a media wall installed at the main entrance of the Nam-gu Office.
On the 14th, Nam-gu announced, "We will operate the 'Time to Restore Family Love' content, which broadcasts stories that families want to share on important life occasions such as employment, admission, marriage, various anniversaries, and military enlistment through a giant LED display screen," and added, "We are accepting various stories throughout the year."
The 'Time to Restore Family Love' content, which contains diverse stories from local residents, was prepared to foster strong bonds among family members through direct participation of residents.
The content will be officially introduced around mid-January next year through the media wall, which is scheduled to be completed around the end of December.
The stories that can be submitted must be related to family members.
Story submissions can be made by visiting the Resident Happiness Officer at the district office or the local administrative welfare center in the resident’s neighborhood, or by submitting via email or Naver Form.
Nam-gu plans to produce various types of content such as video letters containing family stories, handwritten letters, and documentaries, and will open the content according to the applicant’s desired video broadcast schedule.
Content production will be carried out using video shooting equipment at the N Studio on the 7th floor of the district office, and for applicants with mobility difficulties or when documentary planning is required, outdoor shooting will also be conducted.
The length of the content broadcast through the media wall will range from 15 seconds to about 3 minutes per person, depending on the individual story composition of each submission.
Additionally, Nam-gu plans to hold a video contest without genre restrictions based on all themes related to family love around the second half of next year.
