Hyundai Construction Launches 'Safety First Campaign' at 187 Sites Nationwide
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced on the 14th that starting from the 15th, it will conduct a 'Safety First Campaign' targeting its headquarters and 187 sites nationwide.
The slogan is 'Pause for Safety,' aiming to guarantee and promote workers' right to stop work. Since last year, Hyundai Engineering & Construction has created a dedicated online platform called 'Safety Report' to encourage workers to exercise their right to stop work. During the campaign period, posters with QR codes allowing access to 'Safety Report' by scanning will be distributed throughout the sites, and QR codes will also be attached to the safety helmets worn by workers before work and in rest areas.
To activate the 'H-Safety Wallet' system, which encourages voluntary participation in safety management, the points earned for each category have also been increased. The 'H-Safety Wallet' is an incentive system that awards points for workers' safety activities and was first introduced by a domestic construction company in November last year. Hyundai Engineering & Construction has raised the points earned this time, and the points can be converted to Naver Pay points at a 1:1 ratio.
