Visang Education Signs MOU with Hanoi University Hanbe Cultural Exchange Center to Promote Korean Language Education

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Global education and culture company Visang Education announced on the 10th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Vietnam Hanoi University Han-Viet Cultural Exchange Center to promote Korean language education.
According to this agreement, Visang Education and Hanoi University Han-Viet Cultural Exchange Center will jointly pursue ▲development of the Korean Language Proficiency Test (TOPIK) curriculum ▲joint research on educational outcomes using the smart Korean education solution Klass and review of its implementation ▲development of Korean language education courses for elementary, middle, and high school students.
Hanoi University, which signed the MOU with Visang Education, is a national university in Vietnam with a history of over 60 years and is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Korean Language Department this year. Including non-regular courses, about 2,000 students are currently enrolled in the Korean Language Department.
Moreover, it is gaining attention as a cradle for nurturing global talents by producing outstanding Korean language experts every year. In particular, Hanoi University explained that demand for Korean language education continues to increase in line with growing interest in K-content.
Pham Thi Ngoc, head of the Han-Viet Cultural Exchange Center and chair of the Korean Language Department at Hanoi University, said, "Vietnam, which is rapidly growing, still has great growth potential. Hanoi University and Visang Education will play a significant role in continuously cooperating to establish the foundation of the Korean language education ecosystem."

Lee Young-geun, head of Visang Education’s Vietnam branch, said, “With this MOU, we have secured expertise in Korean language education for Vietnamese people and laid the foundation for the future development of Korean language education through research on educational outcomes of Edutech-based Korean education solutions. Furthermore, through cooperative development of customized curricula for students and the general public, we expect to contribute to the activation of exchanges between the two countries.”
