Korea Economic Law Contest by Bank of Korea, Grand Prize for 'NFT Investor Protection Regulation'
The Bank of Korea announced on the 10th that it has selected a total of four outstanding papers in the '2022 Financial Economic Law Research Paper Contest' conducted for university students and financial sector workers.
The Bank of Korea has been holding this contest annually since 2014 to raise interest and foster a research atmosphere regarding central banking and financial economic legislation.
In this year's contest, after evaluations by internal and external experts, one grand prize, one excellence award, and two encouragement awards were selected, totaling four outstanding papers.
The grand prize was awarded to the paper titled 'A Study on Regulatory Measures to Protect NFT (Non-Fungible Token) Investors' submitted by students from Seoul National University School of Law.

Winners will receive a certificate from the Governor along with a monetary prize, and for the next five years, applicants for the Bank of Korea's new employee (G5) recruitment will be given preferential treatment in the document screening process.
