On the same day, Prime Minister Han presided over the 'Itaewon Accident and COVID-19 Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters (CDSCH) meeting' at the Government Seoul Office and said, "We will ensure a thorough investigation to uncover the truth and conduct the process transparently without any suspicion to the public."
Prime Minister Han added, "We will also promptly prepare institutional improvement measures," explaining, "Task forces (TF) involving relevant ministries and experts are currently operating for each detailed task. We will prepare related measures such as a pan-government disaster safety management system, major police reforms, and safety management to prevent accidents in densely crowded places by next month."
