“We Will Realize Welfare Services” … Changwon Special City Holds ‘2022 Changwon Welfare Expo’
85 Social Welfare Facilities and Organizations Participate for Diverse Welfare Experiences
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held the '2022 Changwon Welfare Expo' at Exhibition Hall 1 of the Changwon Convention Center.

On this day, Hong Nam-pyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, local city and provincial council members, members of the local community security council, and heads of social welfare organizations, along with 85 social welfare facilities and organizations, participated. Twenty-five welfare workers were awarded for their contributions to the promotion of community welfare.
The expo was conducted with substantial content in a calm atmosphere, including ▲ promotional booths (77 booths), experience booths (8 booths), welfare win-win market booths (10 booths) ▲ art exhibitions ▲ lifestyle sports programs for health, and expo events.
Health and medical experience events for citizens' health promotion such as physical fitness measurement, mental health healing, body composition, and bone density tests were held. Seniors also experienced kiosks and easy smartphone usage for a smart lifestyle, as well as a one-day barista experience to brighten up dull days. Job seekers could receive employment counseling and assistance with job applications.
In addition, business explanations for the independence of persons with disabilities, disability awareness improvement campaigns, and various experience events were introduced. The promotional hall for women and families included awareness campaigns for sexual violence prevention, job counseling, job information provision, and case management services.
Throughout the exhibition hall, various works polished by welfare institution users and award-winning contest works were displayed, and 161 children's artworks under the theme 'Happy Changwon Outing, Happy Our Home' were exhibited, bringing happiness to the hearts of citizens.
