According to industry sources on the 6th, Twitter has begun notifying Twitter Korea employees of layoffs via email. Some have had their access to the company's computer systems blocked. However, the exact scale of the layoffs has not been confirmed.
CEO Musk completed the acquisition of Twitter last month on the 27th for $44 billion (approximately 62 trillion KRW) and launched a large-scale layoff just a week later. Recently, CEO Musk laid off 50% of all Twitter employees at once. This included former CEO Parag Agrawal and other existing executives.
