According to the police and Nongshim on the 2nd, at around 5:04 a.m., while working on ramen production at the Nongshim Busan factory, Ms. A's clothing got caught in a rotating machine, injuring her arm. Ms. A was working the night shift with colleagues, and a co-worker pressed the emergency stop button to halt the machine before calling 119.
Ms. A sustained a fracture in her shoulder area but is in stable condition. She received emergency treatment at a nearby hospital and was transferred to a specialized hospital for further care.
Nongshim halted all operations in the production building and evacuated employees, while the police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
