View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Koo Dae-sun] On the 2nd, Daegu Public Facilities Management Corporation signed a tripartite business agreement with the Road Traffic Authority and the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute.
This business agreement, involving research institutes and public institutions, aims to share the resources and operational capabilities of each public institution to establish a road traffic safety management system and to collaborate on the development of future transportation innovation technologies.
The three institutions, including Daegu Public Facilities Management Corporation, will jointly promote the creation of a safe road environment to prevent traffic accidents in Daegu, improve traffic safety and establish a safety management system, conduct demonstrations and research for technology development in the transportation sector, utilize public facilities to acquire field data, and develop on-site technologies such as traffic data collection and analysis.
Starting from this business agreement, the parties expect to generate synergy effects in research and development and demonstration of new transportation technologies by utilizing and cooperating with each institution's human and material resources and networks.
Lee Joo-min, Director of the Road Traffic Authority, said, “We will make our best efforts to develop effective traffic infrastructure technologies through scientific traffic information collection and demonstration.”
